SEAIR, the Philippines’ premier leisure airline, now offers the lowest fares to Bangkok.
Bangkok or Krung Threp (“city of angels”) is the capital of Thailand. It is known as the “Venice of the East” for the canals and passages and water-taxis cruising on the Chao Phraya River, the city’s main geographical feature. Bangkok’s ideal location as a trading center gave rise to a multitude of shopping centers, considered some of Asia’s largest, including the largest outdoor market of Asia, Chatuchak. For a taste of the exotic, tourists can watch venomous snakes being milked at the Red Cross Snake Farm or check out Thailand’s Go-Go culture at the Patpong Night Market, considered also a ‘must-visit’ shopping destination. Tourists are also drawn to the food culture from the popular Phad Thai (stir-fried rice noodles) and curries to the rarer fare like fried bamboo worms, spiders and scorpions. Bangkok is also a jump-off point to other Thai hot spots including Chiang Mai and Phuket.
